2018 Rolls Royce SUV Price

Rolls-Royce is currently BMW’s luxury division and all of their cars are high-performance luxury limousines which are probably the most comfortable cars in the World. However, because most of their competitors are releasing on the market SUVs which are constantly rising in terms of sales, BMW decided to release a new car for their luxury division, the 2018 Rolls-Royce SUV which is going to be an all-new vehicle, most likely based on the same platform as the BMW X6. However, unlike the X6, it will get an all-new design, new engines and a new name which is going to fit the Rolls Royce brand.

2018 Rolls-Royce Release Date and Price

Unfortunately, there are not that many details about this car and even though at first there were only rumors, not too long ago Rolls Royce announced this new car. It seems that they are going to release it some time at the end of 2017 for a base price of around $250,000 with the high-performance versions going as far as $350,000, meaning that it will basically be a Phantom with a bigger ground clearance and a very similar level of comfort.

On the interior it will likely borrow design elements from both the Ghost as well as from the Phantom and Rolls Royce is only going to use premium materials such as real wood, leather, and aluminum, all of them in a perfect blend in order to give the car that premium feel. In terms of equipment, it will come with everything on the base model, the difference in price being there because of the level of customization of the car.

Its exterior is going to be something unique but in terms of size, it should be quite similar to the BMW X6, only with a slightly higher roof as well as a boxier shape. In the front, it will look a lot like the Ghost while the back will get its own unique design.

2018 Rolls-Royce Specs

Engine wise, the 2018 Rolls-Royce SUV will make use of a couple of different engines. The base model is quite likely going to use a 550 horsepower 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 from BMW while the top end version of the car should make use of the 6.6 liter V12 from the Ghost, engine which should make more than 600 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, enough to make it very fast for an SUV. It is unclear for now what type of transmission it will use but we are almost certain that it will get the same transmission as the one on the Ghost but unlike the Ghost, it will only be available with all-wheel drive.
